4/24/2025: Hunter is currently on a chemotherapy rotation and has an upcoming scan to check the status of his tumor. Please keep him in your prayers—asking for healing, strength, and good news in the days ahead.
Background: On December 30th, 2024, Hunter underwent brain surgery to remove a brain tumor. The surgery was successful, but his diagnosis was Grade 4 Glioblastoma.
4/17/2025: Scott and Dolly Garber’s son, Mario Garber, will be having his second kidney transplant in a few weeks. His first kidney transplant from 20 years ago has served him well, but he is in need of a new one. His brother is a match so they will both undergo surgery on April 30. Be praying for the family over the coming weeks that everything goes to plan and the surgery is successful!
4/24/2025: Steve has transitioned to rehabilitation at Greencroft as he continues the healing journey for his leg. He is expected to be there for the next few months. Please continue to lift him up in prayer—for steady healing, relief from pain, and comfort throughout his recovery.
4/17/2025: Steve had another painful accident this week. His leg has been injured and put him in the hospital. Be praying for healing and comfort while he recovers.
Background: In February, Steve fell and broke 2 ribs and developed pneumonia during that time as well. In April, Steve had another fall, causing another Emergency Room visit.
4/17/2025: Caden has a surgery scheduled for May 9th. They will lengthen the abductor muscle, and then change the angle of the femur so that the femoral head goes back into the socket where it should be. They are hopeful that the bone will grow back. Pray for Caden’s comfort and healing and peace for the family as they await surgery.
Background: Caden Miller (11), son of Vern and Ruth Miller, was diagnosed with avascular necrosis of the femoral head, a condition causing deterioration of his hip bone due to a lack of blood flow. He is currently unable to bear weight on his leg to avoid further damage. The Millers met with doctors at Riley Children's Hospital on April 3, where they learned Caden will need multiple surgeries and could face up to two years of recovery. Despite the difficult news, the family feels encouraged by the medical team’s plan and asks for continued prayers for healing, wisdom for the doctors, and peace for their family.
